As a Specialist (Promotions), you bring energy, professionalism, and imagination to the way Maid Café connects with the world. Through your unique skills and efforts, guests and the public audience discover the magic that makes Maid Café memorable.
This role is for someone who thrives on expression and connection. You have a natural sense of presentation, an eye for detail, and the confidence to represent the Maid Café wherever you go. You take pride in ensuring that the standards and spirit of Maid Café continue to grow.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and guidance within your specialist area
- Collaborate with Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators to achieve your tasks
- Advocacy of the Maid Café and professionalism
Specialists work individually to develop and implement functions that support the Maid Café. These influence the success of, but are not dependent on, the services delivered at the flagship SMASH! event. Specialists are relied upon not only for their technical skill or experience, but for the steadiness and passion you bring to every interaction.
The Promotions function encompasses all public-facing activities that connect Maid Café with guests and the wider community. This includes performances, outreach, promotional materials, and brand representation.
Additional responsibilities:
- Organising the public representation of the Maid Café
- Planning and delivery of promotional activities
- Contribute to messaging and presentation standards
Essential
- Understanding of SMASH! Maid Café’s visual and cultural identity
- Strong communication and reasoning ability
- Experience in developing or contributing to creative content
Desirable
- At least two years with SMASH! Maid Café as a maid or butler
- Proactive and positive work ethic
- Experience in brand stewardship or representation
