Assistant Coordinator
As an Assistant Coordinator, you’ll be part of the team that brings Maid Café’s vision to life year-round. You’ll help ensure every event and operation runs seamlessly, from preparation to execution, by managing the details that make each guest experience truly special. Working closely with the Coordinators, you’ll provide essential support across administration, training, and logistics, contributing directly to the café’s reputation for excellence and heart.
This role is for someone who is self-motivated, personable, and eager to combine creativity with structure. You’re someone who values teamwork, takes pride in precision, and enjoys being part of something that inspires joy in others. You understand that behind every polished performance is careful coordination and you’re ready to help make that happen. You are encouraged to work collaboratively with Coordinators and drive progress while growing your leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of services delivered to our guests
- Plan and deliver initiatives and tasks to improve customer experience
- Support the enforcement of high standards of dress, bearing and discipline
For our flagship event, Coordinators are in command of the services that define the Maid Café experience. Assistant Coordinators are the control that keeps it all running smoothly by turning vision into action, and ensuring every detail aligns with the standards that make our café shine.
Additional responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of personnel, schedules, and assets for upcoming events
- Assist with administrative, operational, and training tasks
- Contribute to initiatives that improve team capability and café performance
- Champion the Maid Café and development of persona, discipline and interpersonal skills
Essential
- Ability to adapt, problem-solve and stay composed under pressure
- Strong communication and reasoning ability

Desirable
- At least one year with SMASH! Maid Café as a maid or butler
- Proactive and positive work ethic
- Interest in hospitality and customer service
