Who Can Enter

  • You must hold a SMASH! 2024 Weekend or Sunday pass or...
  • Hold a SMASH! 2024 Exhibitors or Media pass to enter
  • You must be above the age of 12 years old, no exceptions
  • SMASH! Staff and Crew are not allowed to enter
  • If you meet the above requirements and have a physical or hidden disability, please complete this registration form and then send us an email so that we can better accommodate you

Tournament Rules

The format of the tournament will vary depending on the number of teams who sign up.

  • 7-8 teams: Single Elimination Bracket --> Final Match
  • 3-6 teams: Round Robin --> Final Match

Note: If there are 5-6 teams, they will be broken up into two groups. Group A will play Matches 1-3; Group B will play Matches 4-6.

  • 2 teams: Exhibition Match

Entry & Schedule

A maximum of 8 teams can enter the tournament. Each team must have 4 players.

Online Registration opens at 12:00 PM AEST on Monday the 17th of June, 2024.

Online Registration closes at 12:00 AM AEST on Monday the 15th of July, 2024.

ON SATURDAY 20TH JULY

Pre-match check-in is conducted 30 minutes before the beginning of each round at the Gaming Registration Desk (please see map onsite). If you are not checked-in 15 minutes before your scheduled match, you will be replaced by a Reserve Player - There will be no exceptions.

  • 10:30 AM - Match 1
  • 11:00 AM - Match 2
  • 11:30 AM - Match 3
  • 12:00 PM - Match 4
  • 12:30 PM - Match 5 (Semi Final 1 if single elimination)
  • 13:00 PM - Match 6 (Semi Final 2 if single elimination)
  • 14:00 PM - Finals Match @ SMASH! Gaming Stage
