Who Can Participate
- You must hold a SMASH! 2025 Weekend or Sunday pass, or hold a SMASH! 2025 Exhibitors or Media pass to enter
- You must be above the age of 12 years old, no exceptions
- SMASH! Staff and Crew are not allowed to enter
- If you meet the above requirements and have a physical or hidden disability, please complete this registration form and then send us an email so that we can better accommodate you
Register on the day
Register on the day (Saturday 12th July 2025) from 10:00 AM (AEST) at the Gaming Registration Desk.
Please note that registrations will be capped at 32 participants, any after that will be put in reserve.
Checked-in 15 mins before the tournament is scheduled to start will have their place filled by those on the wait-list that are present, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Schedule
Single Elimination Bracket: Sunday 13th July 2025, 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Semi-Finals & Finals @ SMASH! Gaming Stage: Sunday 13th July 2025, 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
General Rules
- Only 32 fighter slots for registration. Any registrations after the first 32 will be registered as reserve fighters for the first round
- All matches are made up of 1v1
- Players may only enter a tournament once.
- The winner of the top 8 will be the last fighter standing in a final battle.
- In the event of a draw, fighters will compete in a Sudden Death match to determine a winner for that placing.
- Equipment will be supplied, but you may bring your own official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for use in the competition on the condition that:
- The controller is official and non-modded
- The controller is not third-party licensed
- The controller is the official Nintendo Pro Controller
- Any decisions made by the judges are final and will not be subjected to dispute.
