Terms & Conditions

Who Can Participate

  • You must hold a SMASH! 2026 pass, or hold a SMASH! 2026 Exhibitors or Media pass to enter
  • You must be above the age of 12 years old, no exceptions
  • SMASH! Staff and Crew are not allowed to enter
  • If you meet the above requirements and have a physical or hidden disability, please complete this registration form and then send us an email so that we can better accommodate you

Register on the day

Register on the day (Sunday 12th July 2026) from 10:00 AM (AEST) at the Gaming Registration Desk.

Please note that registrations will be capped at 32 participants, any after that will be put in reserve.

If not checked-in 15 minutes before the tournament is scheduled to start, will have their place filled by those on the wait-list who are present, on a first-come-first-served basis.

Schedule

Single Elimination Bracket: Sunday 12th July 2026, 3:30 PM to 4.30 PM

Semi-Finals & Finals @ SMASH! Gaming Stage: Sunday 12th July 2026, 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM

General Rules

For Greater than 20 players the format will be:

  • Round 1: Best of 1 5mins, highest score wins,
  • Round 2: Best of 3, 5 minutes each game, highest score.
  • Semi-Finals: Best of 3, 5 minutes each game, highest score.
  • Final Drop: 15mins, highest score wins.

For Less than 20 players the format will be:

  • Round 1: Bo3, 5 minutes each game, highest score wins.
  • Round 2: Bo3, 5 minutes each game, highest score.
  • Semi-Finals Bo3, 5 minutes each game, highest score.
    • The player with the highest score from round 2 will proceed directly to Finals.
  • Final Drop: 15mins, highest score wins.
  • Any decisions made by the judges are final and will not be subjected to dispute.
