Who Can Participate

  • You must hold a SMASH! 2024 Weekend or Saturday pass or...
  • You must hold a SMASH! 2024 Exhibitors or Media pass to enter
  • You must be above the age of 14 years old, no exceptions
  • SMASH! Staff and Crew are not allowed to enter
  • If you meet the above requirements and have a physical or hidden disability, please complete this registration form and then send us an email so that we can better accommodate you

Register on the day @ The Summoners’ Society Booth

Register on-the-day (20th July 2024) from 10:00 AM (AEST) at the Summoners’ Society Booth (opposite of the Gaming Registration Desk). Note that on-the-day registration will close 15 minutes before each tournament starts.

(Please note that registrations will be capped at 32 participants, any after that will be put in reserve).

Remember, anyone registered that is not present when the tournament is scheduled to start will have their place filled by those on the wait-list that are present, on a first-come-first-served basis.

Tournament Rules

  • Single Elimination Bracket
  • 32 Seeds
  • Elimination Rounds: Howling Abyss 1v1
  • Finals: Best of 3 Howling Abyss

Schedule

The tournament matches start from 10:30 AM and will require you to check-in at the SumSoc Booth. We understand that there may be gaps between your matches and request you check how SumSoc would best contact you.

The elimination rounds will be conducted between 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM

The final round will be conducted between 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

The Tournament Arena is a competition only space, and any spectators within the arena are not allowed!

The final round will be broadcasted on the Gaming Stage with commentary, you will be requested on stage if you win to receive your prize and photo op!

Prizes

Summoners’ Society will provide prizes on the day. Please check with the friendly staff at the booth!
