Noriyaro, also known as Alexi Smith, an Australian-born car enthusiast, immerses viewers in Japan's car culture, focusing on drifting. After working in magazines and as a 3D animator, Alexi's trip to Japan in 2005 sparked his interest in car culture.
He moved there, starting the noriyaro.com blog and contributing to magazines. He then shifted to YouTube, where he now commentates for the D1 Grand Prix and streams on Twitch. His content focuses on Japanese car culture and includes crossovers with anime and movies like Initial D and Fast & Furious.
Through engaging videos, he offers insights into Japanese car culture, showcasing not only the adrenaline-pumping action but also the camaraderie, DIY spirit, and vehicle diversity within Japan's car scene. Noriyaro has garnered a global following among car enthusiasts due to its compelling content, striking visuals, and Alexi's profound knowledge and passion for Japanese automotive culture, providing a captivating window into the dynamic world of drifting and car enthusiasts in Japan.

Who Can Participate?
- Anyone! Staff and crew are also welcome to participate.
- However those under 16 years of age will not be allowed to participate
Contest Rules
Using an impact wrench, the contestant will need to screw in completely and then pull out the lug nut. The timer will start as soon as the impact wrench is used, however it will stop as soon as the lug nut is removed.
Leaderboard
- The leaderboard will show the current top five best times.
- If the contestant’s time is less than any other time on the leaderboard, it will be added and the highest time removed.
- A contestant will only be allowed a single time on the leaderboard. If a contestant manages to get their score on the leaderboard twice, the worst score will be removed or not added.
- A contestant may be allowed multiple attempts at the discretion of staff.
- Contestants are to follow all directions and instructions from staff. Failure to do so may result in but not limited to the banishment from attempts or removal of their score.
- SMASH! reserves the right to alter or change this competition as it sees fit.
- While in possession of equipment from SMASH, contestants must provide a reasonable level of care and safety.
