Trivia Coordinator (Presentation)

As the Trivia Coordinator (Presentation), you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Trivia to coordinate and manage Trivia event content and presentations. They will work with Trivia staff to coordinate event details and complete associated administrative tasks, as well as conducting quality checks of all Trivia content.

Essential Skills & Knowledge, Experiences, Qualifications

  • Contactable on a regular basis online and over the phone
    Strong communication skills Strong English spelling and grammar skills.
  • Attend meetings, workshops and activities as required
  • Available for convention days in Sydney, Australia
  • Interest in Japanese pop culture such as anime, manga, games and/or music
  • Access to and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • People management skills
  • Experience training people for a role/task
  • Ability to work independently and follow the directions from the Head of Trivia
    and management

Desirable Skills & Knowledge, Experiences, Qualifications

  • Previous volunteer or customer service experience
  • Experience in running small-scale events
  • Experience supervising people/teams
  • Proficiency with and access to editing software (e.g. photo editing such as GIMP, audio editing such as Audacity, and video editing such as DaVinci Resolve).
