COVID-19 Announcement

Dear SMASH! community,

In light of the ever-evolving COVID-19 pandemic, and with the advice from the Australian Government, it is with a heavy heart that SMASH Inc has decided to postpone the SMASH! 2020 event.

We understand that SMASH! 2020 is only 4 months away and you have been looking forward to this event, but we have decided to place the health and safety of our volunteers and our attendees as our top priority.

The difficult decision to postpone was based on the unpredictable climate and government advice that has left both our staff and crew members heartbroken. With the uncertainty surrounding the situation, we cannot put our volunteers or our attendees at risk.

As a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation run completely by volunteers, we are proud of our resilient community in such times. Without our hardworking staff and crew, and you, our beloved attendees, SMASH! would not be able to exist. We hope that you will continue to support us when we come back with more exciting events in the future.

We thank you for your ongoing support for SMASH!, especially in these stressful times. As we approach our 15th year, we aim to give you a safe and fulfilling convention run by the fans, for the fans!

 
What will happen to current ticket holders?

Your ticket will still be valid for our next flagship event. If you are willing to hold on to your ticket(s), you won’t need to do anything else - we’ll send you another copy of your tickets once the new dates are confirmed.

 

If you want a full refund on your order

If you would prefer a full refund, please fill out the refund request form. Please note that refunds will be provided to the purchaser’s credit card and will require up to 10 business days.

If you bought tickets for a group and want a refund on individual tickets

If you have a group order, but would prefer a refund on individual tickets, please fill out the refund request form. Please note that refunds will be provided to the purchaser’s credit card and will require up to 10 business days.

I am a current ticket holder, but I haven’t received an email.

Please email 2020@smash.org.au with your order number and name, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

When and where will the next flagship event be held?

We are still in the process of reorganising the next event, so sit tight and we will let you know as soon as possible!

What if I hold on to my ticket, but then can’t make the next flagship event later?

You will still be able to refund your ticket if you can’t make the next flagship event. You can request a refund by filling out the refund request form. Please note that refunds will be provided to the purchaser’s credit card and will require up to 10 business days.
