SMASH! Sydney Manga and Anime Show is organised by SMASH Inc, an incorporated not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to create an open and affordable event for fans which encourages art, creativity and community involvement. SMASH Inc has a three-tier organisational structure:

  • Staff

Board

The board is a 7-member team elected at the annual general meeting by the members of the organisation. It appoints the Management and guides the overall direction of the organisation. The board also runs smaller focus groups with different portfolios to ensure the organisation runs smoothly.

Management

Our management is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the convention. The executive committee consists of our President and Executive Directors, leading a team of directors responsible for each of their departments.
